Do it.

Hehe, admittedly Cerby is quite cool, but he's remind me too much of the Cerrby on Megaten: Imagine Kitini, is these anything that can even come close to summoning, or will that throw this whole thing off-kilter? =p

MegaTen: Imagine? I've heard that game is utterly horrible, even as far as online games go. /Megaten fan
In general... I would say that Summoning would be a cross between Energy and the element of the creature you're summoning. So Ifrit would be Energy + Fire, while Siren would be Energy + Air or Ice, maybe both. Carbuncle would be Energy + Light, while Doomtrain is Energy + Dark. Eden could be Energy + Technomancy... Maybe Alexander would be, too. What would Bahamut be? Energy + Energy? Or, maybe there'd be a whole new Style for it... Gah, now you've got me thinking. >.<

would'nt summoning leave long time effects?
or would it require a vessal to seal and use creatures to fight alonside with (thinking more of the lines of devil summoner than pokemon)

Never seen that one) Eden = Technowhatever FF9 Alexander = Light FF8 Alexander = Technowhatever Bahumet = Dark (has he ever been anything else...?)But I'd rather not rip off FF even more. I don't mind them turning up as opponents as much, but tbh, if Alien and KoW are setting the standard of strength here, I'm gonna be having a hard enough a time coming up with opponents who are an actual challenge without calling on ancient spirits etc.

Hehe, it's OK, I was mostly kidding, Kitini - I was just trying to think how I can not be rendered obsolete, considering that Alien already has ice which I was having as my offensive magic type ^_^; I guess I just get too envious too quickly. Y'know: crying and stealing ice for myself

>.> Kat is supposed to be rather overpowered in the beginning. Black Mage trademark sorta thing. <.< And her broken arm is going to screw with her spellcasting now, so...
Doomtrain I would think of being Technomancy since he's... Well, a giant evil train. >.>
Bahamut in FF9 and 10, the only ones I've actually gotten him in (>.>), was more non-elemental than anything else.
So... Is anybody else going to post soon? ...Or opinions on my messing-with-the-pretty-buttons post? I like the way it came out, personally.
Also, Jiin and Kitini, are you going to make posts in the War? <.< /putting war stuff in the Academy OoC topic

Re Kat's overpoweredness - please don't tell me your using the 8bit Theatre version of Black Mage, because black mages aren't actually any more powerful than the other characters in all the games. Except when they get Ultima. Then it's just "owtf?!" And when did she break her arm...? I think I need to read your post more carefully XD;; Re Doomtrain - never managed to find him. Didn't even know he (it?) existed. Re Bahamut - try finding him in FF7 - definitely dark. Re posting - yep. Re your post - don't use the moving text, seriously. That sucks. Also, glowing doesn't work on my PC, sort of works on my laptop, and works fine on my work computer. Just an FYI (firefox XP, firefox Vista and internet explorer XP, in that order, if you're interested) Re war - trying to work out what I could actually have outside of Dekus. Thoughts? I'm actually out of ideas ; (aside from the fishmen from WW which would have to be guards due to the whole "have to stay in water" bit, and the merpeople things (I forget what they're called) at a push...)

Oh gaw! My FF8 Torrent is almost finished. ^_^
Kitini, you get Doomtrain by first going to the area the Lunatic Pandora 'landed'. In the second or third area, there's a ring on the ground. Pick it up. After that, you have to find 6 Steel Pipes, 6 Marlboro Tentacles, and 6 Remedy+'s. Then, after you have them, use the Solomon's Ring item in your inventory. Voila, you have Doomtrain.
And about the war, you can have anything near Deku Palace. Octoroks, Dragonflies, Mad Scrubs, Monkeys (in one war, a guy used Monkeys with dart guns).

Especially if you go by animation, rather than actual damage. How many warrior-types get massive asplosion attacks early on in the game? Not that many, I would think, while most any black mage starts with at least a Fire spell. Doomtrain is ridiculously hard to find. >.> Bah. 'kay. ;.; But I liked the moving text! And the sides the text was coming from was supposed to signify where the voices were coming from; black&white was from directly ahead, blue and red from either side, and moving-guy kept moving in different directions. Pretty bad symbolism, but symbolism all the same! <.< Try looking at enemies near the Deku Palace, like Kow said. You could get Octoroks, Keese, Dragonflies, Guay... Er... frogs? >.> <.<

@alien - ... touche.
I haven't played any LoZ game (except Twilight Princess, but I fell out with that game) for a long time, so I forget the details XP I'll try find it again, but it may well be at my grans now.
@kow - y'know, you could've just asked and I'd have sent you my copy of the game. I fell out with it. Way too hard after disc 4 :[
And that sounds like a pain in the backside, just for one GF. Seriously :[

You could look in that site Kow gave Blobfish in the War Brainstorming topic. It has lists of enemies from every Zelda game, so... You can get most enemies from the outer areas of forests, like anything from the Lost Woods in OoT, Faron Woods in TP, the Picori Forest in MC, etc.
Also, Kitini, could you make a topic to put down ideas for missions/story-arcs? I already have multiple different missions and 2 different story arcs... Even if it were just you and me making the missions, we could also use it as a Mission Archive; mission ideas that have already been done, so that nobody, say, does another mission eliminating Goblins on the Academy's island.
