Graphics- The graphics are great. All I can really say. They're bright, althoguh not at all realistic >.>. But, who really cares? I personally don't like graphics that are "realistic". *rambles on* *realizes nobody cares*
Sound- Good enough. The only bad thing is that the chattering of the characters when you talk to them can get annoying.
Music- Perfectly fits the enviorment, and nobody can argue that Rising Sun is one of the best Final Boss themes ever.
Gameplay-
Celestial Brush: The celestial brush is what allows you to do magic, basically. You draw different shapes and then it has different effects. For example, if you draw a stright line, it will become the Power Slash ability. Or if you draw a circle on the water, you'll make a lily pad. Of course, you have to restore spirits to be able to use the powers.
Weapons: There are three different weapon types. One that has a mix of speed and power, one that has speed and low power, and one with low speed and high power. These can each be assigned as a sub-weapon or a main weapon. Each type of weapon has a different effect in either main or sub set. For example, the Reflector weapons act as a shield when used as a sub- weapon.
Praise: When you help people, you get praise. You can then use praise to power up your stats. For example, if you feed an animal, you get praise. You also get more praise later in the game, which is really required to be able to upgrade things.
Sidequests: There are a ton of sidequests. You'll almost never get bored. *needs more work on this section*
Replayability: After you beat the game, you can replay through on a New Game Plus. Quite a lot of stuff carries over, but not enough to completely destroy the difficulty.
