((Yes, go ahead, TEG. Sorry I didn't make that clear. And sorry for the delay; working on a billion things at once. Turns out that's a bad idea for a procrastinator.))
Shayna saw Tanya recovering and tried to fight her way closer. As soon as she was close enough, she knocked an attack away from herself, and quickly slammed the palm of her hand against the floor, raising roots to bind the bandits around Tanya.
'Just hold them for a moment...' she silently prayed as she resumed her attack.
"Where the hell are the others?!" she shouted to Tanya.

(I have to post this from my mobile, so this is probably going to be pathetically short and grammarless) Martin glanced around and kept himself reserved when the blade ripped open the girls shoulder. Though he had no wish to see her harmed, he almost wanted to chastize her for not paying attention to a man who had been sneaking up beside her. But of course, not everyone had trained themselves explicitly not to be snuck up on, as he had.
He could tell that the pair needed help, so he prayed that his acting as "Mark" had been well enough that he could afford to assist them in his wetboy attire. He dropped from the trees, and even as he was charging, it took the group a moment to notice him. He drew his hand-and-a-half sword and gutted some poor bastard who hadn't been paying attention. Thankfully, he'd made sure that "Mark" fought differently than he really did. That persona used flashy moves. Martin would never be caught dead practicing some of the techniques he'd used as "Mark". Martin was always quick to the kill. He was making corpses, not art. And as he ripped through a group of bandits, he was glad his face was smeared with ash so no one would easily see his face...

((GAH bad Jenny, bad! *smacks own wrists*)) Shayna turned and noticed the newcomer. Thankfully, he seemed on their side. She wasn't sure, but he seemed to be a student, so she felt a wave of relief - at least they would not be fighting alone. She continued her own assault, becoming more assured as they seemed to be falling much faster now. ((I got caught up in stuff and completely forgot to check back. My bad ))

"Not exactly the 'others' I was expecting, but hopefully he'll be good enough for you, Shayna." Tanya shouted across the battlefield, laughing slightly. Now healed she focused on pushing back the bandits again before hitting them more seriously, aiming to break bones or knock away weapons. "But if we don't get the others back, we might not last too long anyway. You, whoever you are " she added, shouting towards the newcomer "If you can protect Shayna and me, we should be able to get rid of most of them with one spell. Right, Shayna?"
~~ (Sorry it's been so long. Things havebeen a bit odd and I forgot. Sorry)

((Heh, I don't think I'm in any position to be particularly upset )) "Certainly worth a shot," Shayna responded between her increasingly panicked dodges. She quickly cut at a pair of her attackers in an effort to close the gap between herself and Tanya, barely avoiding an axe in the progress. ((:] I think we need to hurry and wrap this mission up, it's beginning to drag on lol))

(lol, yeah, it has a bit) ~~ Tanya started moving towards Shayna, focusing on tripping up bandits to keep them away from her for longer. Though only a few fell, she soon found herself within arm's reach of Shayna. Moving so that they keep an eye out for each other, she leaned, looked around to check the newcomer was still far enough away, and whispered "Who the hell is that guy? Can we trust him?"

"Sure as hell hope so, not sure how much longer I can keep this up," Shayna confessed, blocking and repelling an attack. With a quick gesture, roots erupted around the pair, pushing their assailants back and tangling around their legs. "Oi! You over there! Fancy giving us a hand?" she called, frustrated. ((*waves at TEG* Oi! You over there! ))

Tanya dashed forward to grab onto one of the closest roots. A wave of ice cpread along it, freezing and shattering the roots as it went. Cries of pain were heard around them as the roots turned to frozen shards and were forced into the bandits' legs, crippling most of them. "Yeah, whenever you're ready, maybe we can kill these guys. If you'd care to join us?" Tanya shouted out to the newcomer in a somewhat sarcastic voice.
