Uh... Kow was bothering me to make this. Yeah. Seriously. Uh-huh. >.> <.< >.> <.< >.> Anyway, when you make the board, Blobfish, could you move this topic there? I'm fairly sure you can do that. ...Right? <.<
Anyway, I'll just post the sheet here first. I know Kow already has his char planned out, so he'll probably post first. I've got an ungodly amount of typing to do after this, what with all the sign-ups I have to make... ._.
Sheet:
Name: (Self explanitory.) Age: (See above) Gender: (See above) Race: (Largely, it consist of: Hylian, Korok, Goron, Rito, or monster races. I would prefer not to see too many monster races, though humanoids ones are allowed.) Group/Organization: (Which group is your char most sympathetic to? The Church of Din, Nayru, or Farore? Another group?)
Appearance: (Obvious. More in-depth is encouraged, but not required.) Personality: (Please, make it fit your backstory. People who saw their village burned down and then had to serve those who did it aren't going to be cheery and happy.) Backstory: (See Personality)
Weapons/Equipment: (Any weaponry or specific equipment your char routinely carries around. Armor and clothing falls under here. Please note, though, that creativity is highly encouraged. Katanas are not, in fact, the most awesome thing in existence. Technology has advanced quite a bit in the 400 years since tWW took place, so fairly accurate guns are allowed, as a devices like the Hookshot. However, they're still quite expensive, due to primitive manufacturing. So a character that has them for no reason = no.)
Inventory: (Things that your char lugs around. Such as food, camping equipment, and ammunition. Arrows and bullets are listed here, not in Weapons/Equipment. As well, this is where miscellaneous keepsakes and such would be listed.)
Element: (A bit of clarification is needed here. The elements available are: Fire Water/Ice Wind/Air Light, sometimes called Luck. Dark, also sometimes called Luck. Nothingness (/Kingdom Hearts), occasionally used as Time Energy (which can encompass any of the prior, or be used by itself.)
Also, no more than 1 element per character. Due to end-game setups, we need 7 different elements, so if we have 8 normal chars... One of my characters goes evil. After that, an extra char gets screwed over. >.> <.< >.> <.< >.> I would like to fill out all 7 elements before we double-up on elements. However, by the time we get down to 2-3 elements left, there aren't really any restrictions on your element and your starting abilities, only those that you get much, much later on.)
Abilities: (The first 3 chars have to have abilities that correspond to their element. After that, it gets progressively less restrictive, since I don't want anybody to be stuck with an element and abilities they didn't want. Anyway, there's a system for abilities:
You can have Traits and Abilities. Traits are, basically, special features, such as freakish luck or regenerative properties, that are always on. Abilities are special attacks, that can be consciously performed. You can have 1 Trait and 4 Abilities, 2 Traits and 2 Abilities, or 3 Traits and no Abilities. Traits can only be started with, not gained throughout, while Abilities can be gained via side-questy stuff or other such things.)
Misc. notes: (Duh.)

Name: Kuto Age: 19 Gender: Male. Race: Hylian. Group/Organization: The Church of Din.
Appearance: About 5'6", blue eyes, and blond hair. He wears mostly dark clothing, and a holster on his waist for his gun, and another on the other side for his sword. Personality: Slightly insane, but not exactly in a bad way. He's pretty sarcastic, with some seriousness in him when the time calls for it. Backstory: Kuto was born on Dragon Roost, and has lived there his entire life. He would occasionally go to Windfall for a mini-vacation type thing, so he can use boats. Dragon Roost had been a peaceful place.
Until the Sea Banditos attacked, also known as Pirates.
They invaded the peaceful place, slaughtering everyone before some even knew they were the Sea Banditos were there. After only a few minutes, all of the villagers had been dead.
Except for Kuto. Apparently, Sea Banditos like torturing people for no reason. They tied Kuto up, and gathered some of the dead bodies of his friends, families, and neighbors. They cut some of the limbs off...
And force fed them to Kuto. Within his cries of anguish, rage began to boil up inside of him. Within moments of this strange feeling, and being fed his friends, something strange happened. A bright blue light enveloped almost all of Dragon Roost, and it destroyed everything, save most of the island.
What felt like hours later, Kuto awoke, unawares of what had happened. He found all of the Pirates dead, or dieing. He gathered his belongings(which wasn't much, by the way), and looted some of the bodies. He found two guns; something he wouldn't normally find at Dragon Roost. He also found a generic Cutlass, not that he was decent with them. He took what he found, besides the guns some ammo, and went to what used to be the dock. Most of it was destroyed, except for a boat. The same boat that the Pirates used. It had minor damage, but was still usable. He took the boat to Windfall, unsure of what to do next.
However, with his luck, as soon as he got to Windfall, he was arrested by a girl with black hair (FORESHADOWING!), due to being in a Pirate's boat. Even though he used probably the best logic he had ever heard, the girl still arrested him. He is now currently in jail, with a strange man in a green jumpsuit.
Weapons/Equipment:He has two of these (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.44_Magnum) that he dual-wields, stolen from the Pirates. Other than that, he also has a Cutlass, also stolen from them.
Inventory: Two holsters for his gun and sword, and 200 bullets for his guns.
Element: Energy.
Abilities:
Trait 1: Quick Hands. Can load his guns faster than most people, even though he's holding two.
Trait 2: Opposite Element. For some reason, Kuto's guns change elements depending on the environment. For example, if he was at Dragon Roost, his bullets element would change to water. If he was at Lake Hylia, or the Sea, it would change to fire.
Ability 1: Energy Nova. A devastating attack. Explodes everything in a large radius, with bright blue.. energy. Kuto can't control this, it only happens when he's under large emotional rage. When this happens, it also drains him of all energy, making him unconscious.
Ability 2:
Misc. notes:
If you can't tell, that bit in the last backstory part was Alien's character.
Also, I didn't use a second ability. Couldn't think of one.

Name: Katrina (often nick-named Kat) Illiaros Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Hylian. Most likely has a bit of Gerudo, however. Group/Organization: The Church of Din.
Appearance: Black hair, hanging to mid-back. Fairly pretty, but not beautiful. Average height. She wears a sheath for her sword on her waist, not the back, as is the current fashion.
Personality: Serious and largely intolerant of other viewpoints. Has trouble accepting being wrong, because she is completely sure in herself. Has a bit of a complex concerning her being inferior to men, especially in physical matters.
Backstory: Kat was the second-born of a set of twins, the first children her parents had. Her brother was almost stillborn, and only frantic prayers to Din saved him from death, according to the priests that had been there. Most children born on Windfall were born in a special wing of the Temple there.
In thanks to the Goddess, Katrina's parents gave her to the priesthood, as female children are still undervalued by a large amount.
In the priesthood, Katrina had a fanatic obsession with the Goddess drilled into her, and rose fairly swiftly through the clergy. When the war began, she enlisted into the military branch of the church, one of the very few females who did so.
Due to the massive casualties taken by Windfall in the war, she gained immense promotion by the value of still being alive.
As the war ended in tragedy and the death of the Warrior-Leader of the Church, along with most of the highest ranking officials, and the rest of the higher-ups of the Church thrown into confusion, Kat has largely taken control of the Church. As the monsters seem to be heading towards Windfall, the small scouting groups have reported, she's begun preparing the defenses.
She is also responsible for the arrest of a strange man in a pirate boat.
Weapons/Equipment: Kat usually wields a roughly 3-foot-long longsword, but she uses magic in equal amount with physical weaponry. She typically wears men's clothing before a dress, due to the practicality, but she can dress up when forced. She tends to feel uncomfortable in dresses, though. Kat has fairly heavy armor, including a steel helmet, breastplate, gauntlets, greaves, and pauldrons. However, her normal fighting style is quite quick, despite this weight.
Inventory: A fairly large sack of Rupees, taken from the Temple treasury to buy any supplies that may be needed. Merchants don't understand concepts like "if you don't give me this stuff, you could very well die because of monsters rampaging through town".
Element: Nothingness/Time
Abilities: Trait: Timeline (Allows Kat's time-based abilities to take precedence over pre-set events, to prevent time loops or paradoxes. In extreme cases, such as the Goddess' direct will, it could also cause a split in the timeline, in which Kat's ability succeeds or the other person succeeds. If this were to happen, the story would follow the path where Kat won.)
Ability: Chrono Blade (Kat enchants her sword to have different effects depending on what she is hitting; speed up the process of rusting if it's armor, or to keep a cut open if it's flesh, for example.)
Ability: Chronos Burst (Kat unleashes a maelstrom of time magic, randomly aging or deaging everything in range. Like Kow's Nova, it causes her to become unconscious. Consciously triggerable, but plays hell on her energy level for almost a month after, at the beginning.)
Ability: Teleport (Kat distorts the perception of time passing for those around her, allowing her to move at speeds that seem like instantaneous movement. If needed, she can actually distort the time she moves in to make herself move that fast, but it causes nausea and can mess up her muscles.)
Ability: Freeze (Kat stops the flow of time around something, causing it to be frozen in time. Nothing can hurt it, for there is no time in which it could be hurt, but neither can it move. Mostly used to dodge projectiles. Can't be used on anything much larger than a watermelon. Shot-based projectiles are pretty much immune to this, because there are too many individual pieces to freeze to be effective.)
Misc. notes: Paladin. Paladin. Paladin. Paladin. Paladin. Seriously. So much paladin it's ridiculous. >.>
~
Name: Kennit Ludluck Age: 28 Gender: Male Race: Hylian Group/Organization: The Old Breed, a group of traditional pirates led by Kennit.
Appearance: Longish brown hair, fairly coarse. Has an awesome mustache, oiled and pointed to look more sophisticated. He also wears a monocle and a top hat. Tall and broad-shouldered, annoying his tailor to no end.
Personality: Kennit is a Magnificent Bastard to put all others to shame. He has no qualms in tricking people, bribing them, or just killing them, but it always benefits his goals. He routinely pulls Xanatos Gambits, when he doesn't even seem to have a clue what he's doing. He is a very persuasive talker, and is so assured in himself it can unnerve people. He is next to impossible to catch him off-guard, but if you manage to do so and continue to, he is almost helpless. He tends to inspire fanatic devotion from his crew, due to incredible luck in pirating.
Backstory: The son of a pirate and a trading woman, raised on a small island. He lived an idyllic life until he was seven, when the island was attacked by enemies of his father.
He was taken as a slave, working aboard the ship. For the next ten years, horrible treatment and repeated abuse hardened him from a kind boy to a ruthless man.
At eighteen, he lead a mutiny on the captain, and then began to build his vision; a world where pirate would not fight pirate, where all men, outlaw or trader, farmer or raider, could live in peace. Many of the pirates had begun to tire of their brutal lifestyle, and they began to gather under his banner.
However, other pirates had also tired of their lifestyle before, becoming a group of "mercenary patrolmen" that were little more than legitimized pirates that could have official authority to board vessels and then "confiscate illegal goods". Kennit set up his Old Breed, his loyal band of cutthroats and murders as he called them when deep in drink and misery, in opposition to them.
This has, understandably, lead to conflict both in and outside the Old Breed.
Currently, Kennit is trying to find a way to battle the monsters who continually ravage his fleet.
Weapons/Equipment: Two iron musketoons, about a foot and a half long each. They have a flared end, allowing fairly large projectiles to fit inside. Kennit prefers, however, to use a large spread of iron shot, which is devastating at both short and long range. They have a wooden casing, with brass rings around the barrel and stock. Kennit also has a custom-made Hookshot, that can reel something in or drag himself to something at will.
Kennit wears a badass hat. It fascinates anybody who sees it, through it's sheer awesome appearance. He typically wears colorful clothing, in blues and reds. He has a thing for lace, and is rarely seen without it. He has a red coat he is particularly fond of, and usually wears during battles. According to him, it is because it is difficult to see that he has taken any injury while he wears it.
Inventory: Several pouches of iron shot, and a few more pouches of gunpowder. A wooden charm, tied to one wrist. Unclear significance. Kennit's badass hat, which, unlike most of his things, has no special purpose. Kennit's monocle, actually an enchanted lens that allows him to zoom in on distant sights. Vyse-style, except with a monocle rather than eyepatch.
Element: Darkness/Luck
Abilities: Trait: Luck (Kennit has an insane amount of luck, one of the things the crew nearly worships him for. Targeted ships will run through a float of seaweed, or run aground on uncharted islands. Or their wind will simply fail in mid-flight, leaving them easy prey.)
Trait: Mastermind (Kennit has a near-superhuman ability to strategize and plot, which have never failed so far. This is another of the things that led to his massive popularity as a commander.)
Trait: Charisma (Kennit is an extremely charismatic man, being able to convince almost anybody but those utterly opposed to him to his side, given enough time.)
Misc. notes: Between those 3 Traits, Kennit = master of the mindscrew. And manipulation.

Name: Elise Age: 21 Gender: Female Race: Hylian Group/Organization: None - freelance Appearance: Fairly short with thin frame, short deep purple hair, deep blue eyes. Wears mostly loose clothing with minimal armour. Personality: Deceptively kind - puts on a friendly face, but is quite cruel. She's also prone to sudden outbursts of anger and is rarely afraid due to the nature of her special performances as a child. Backstory:Elise comes from a family of circus performers, on Outset Island. From a young age, she has practiced her speed, agility and balance, so that she could be a useful member of the circus. She also practiced her stealth, as she stole from ships harboured in the bay to provide a little extra income for her family. One day, a priest came to the island, on official business. He had heard talk of this strange circus, with its child performers. The description of one particular dancer stood out to him - Elise, and what had come to be known as "The Tightrope Dance of Death", where Elise would dance across tightropes, high above the audience, with no safety nets if she made a mistake, and often juggling fiery torches. The moment his duty was complete, the priest attended the show, and was impressed with the daring of the youngsters. He tried to speak to them - any of them! - but none of them would listen. They all saw a creepy guy approaching children. Elise, however, saw a goldmine. That night, she crept aboard the ship he had arrived on and found her way to his room. She was halfway done helping herself to the valuables he had when he awoke. She tried to lie her way out, as she had done many times before, but he knew what she was up to. He scolded her, and told her he was going to report her to the island guards and have her arrested. Before he could add "unless you return my items", she was upon him, striking him hard - harder than she thought, as blood began to flow. She tried to feel guilty. Honestly, she did. But, disturbingly, she found she didn't care. It was only when word spread of the priests death and her family looked at her with suspicious eyes did the weight of her actions show. She decided to make amends, and traveled to the church the priest had come from - a church of Din. But, when she overheard what would happen if his murderer was ever caught, she rather hastily changed her mind. Stuck between coming home to suspicion - surely only raised higher by her sudden trip away - or the fate of the murderer, Elise wandered for a while. It was by chance she heard a man mention that someone was causing a lot of trouble for him. She approached him, and, after a lengthy conversation, she agreed to "take care" of his problem. The body of the troublemaker was found the next day. The man spread word to his trusted friends, who in turn contacted her to handle their issues. They're always troubled by how quickly corpses turn up. Weapons/Equipment: Small iron dagger, iron bow, wrist band used to hold weapon. Armour-wise, she has a light leather cuirass, Inventory: Quiver of iron arrows (around 75), small bag of rupees (around 100) Element: Fire Abilities:Trait: Stealthy - Elise is very good at sneaking about and going undetected Trait: Acrobat - She's also very good with anything acrobatic; balancing, dodging, etc Trait: Escape Artist - On the rare occasion she's actually caught, she can quickly and efficiently escape from standard style prisons and most kinds of restraints. Misc. notes:She's an experiment considering how I've never done a zero-ability character. Thank you for this chance to branch out a bit I also hope I'm right in assuming there's more than one church per religion ^^;; If not, imagine that "a church" reads "the church"

There are several branches of each Church, but they're usually small and out of the way. More hermitages than actual churches. The only ones of any size are the ones of Windfall, Greatfish, and Forest Haven, and those are massive island-sized ones. The Prophets weren't very subtle. They really only built the central churches, and the other smaller ones came in the 100 years since.
Also, currently available elements:
Fire Water/Ice Wind/Air Light, sometimes called Luck.
Dark, also sometimes called Luck. Nothingness, occasionally used as Time Energy

Name: Sylvia Antredge Age: 17 Gender: F Race: Hylian Group/Organization: Church of Nayru
Appearance: Taller than average for a woman with long ginger hair (tied back), brown eyes, and a fair complexion. She looks intimidating when she glares, but usually just looked disinterested. Relatiovly athletic build. Personality: She has always been short-tempered, but while previously she was somewhat sociable, recently she has become grumpy. Or sometimes just disinterested, which shows in her eyes. Backstory: For the first few years of her life she was a merchant with her family. However, her father soon got intrigued by the teachings of the church of Nayru and moved the whole familiy to Greatfish Isle, where all the familiy was blessed and welcomed into the church. Slyvia was supposed to be educated to become a nun. At the age of 10, a boy tried to push her over...or perhaps just walked into her by mistake. Either way, Sylvia became angry and pushed the boy in return. Down a cliff. The boy survived with only a few minor bruises. Such occurances came up every few months, and by the time Sylvia was 12, the priests had decided she was unsuitable to join the clergy. They struggled to find any other suitable use for a violent girl in the relativly peaceful church, so left her to her own devices. After a few years of sulking and sneaking in training with the guards - they didn't want a woman joing the guards, obviously - Syl went back to what she knew: trading. As soon as her mother let her, Syl took the family's old boat and started trading between islands. Since she wasn't a nun, she even managed to trade with the other churches without too much trouble, though their slanderings of Naryu angered her, almost leading her to violence. It was while she was hapilly ferrying supplies towards her homeland to aid the war effort that the island was destroyed. She tried to get word of her family and friends, but apparently they were all on the island, and were now all dead. The shock left her less inclined to talk to people and more inclined just to draw her weapons. Forcing down this anger she managed to resume her trading, all the while actually hoping to find out who exactly had been responsible, in order to (of course) get revenge.
Weapons/Equipment: Main weapon is a simple double-bladed sword and a long slightly curved knife. In a bad situation she will try unarmed but isn't half as good. Armour-wise she has a set of armour 'obtained' from the guards at Greatfish. She has a faceless helmet, a leather-based set of plate mail, gauntles and greaves.
Inventory: Some healing potions, quite a few rupees (merchants are rich unless they're bad merchants, though the war made it hard to get profits), some basic rations, etc. better food, spare clothes, etc, are hidden in her boat.
Element: Wind / air
Abilities: Trait 1: Determination - Syl never backs down. This is useful in battle as it can unnerve the opponent and useful outside of battle since it helps her wear down opposition and drive a hard bargain.
Ability 1: Sea Breeze - To get her ship around, Syl can control the winds and make them lead her straight to her destination. This can also be uased to slow down pursuers and even create small typoons.
Ability 2: Air sheild - Allows Syl to block almost any attack with a blast of air or a wall of air.
Ability 3: Restraints - Can trap anyone or anything in air, given enough energy. Includes people, magic, weapons, etc.
Ability 4: [Can I fill this in later please?]
Misc. notes: Erm...yeah. I had no idea what to write so I juts made it up on the spot. Sorry. Is it OK? Still need me to take an extra character?

Since I'm bored, and I'm too lazy to do the stuff I should be doing, I'm going to put up the actual topic. <.< >.> It will take a few days to get the first major event started, giving Jiin and Blob time to make their chars and get them to Windfall. Or wherever it is they're going. <.<
The first major event of the story will be at Windfall, though it is not necessary to be there. Kennit won't be even meeting everybody else for awhile. <.<
