((Okay, lady and gentlemen, if any of you are still interested...This thread is to be used for the journey back to the village after the fight and all events following this point. If you still want to continue the fight, please use the old post. Yes, it took me this long to figure out how to get out of the stalemate. Now then...*ahem*)) As the sun set upon the lonely hills, the group of students carefully made their way back toward the village and to their reward. Their fight had been hard, but they had proved the victor. During the battle, several cultists had managed to slip away. Word would surely begin to spread now of this groups capability. The village grows near now, and at least one member of the group looks forward to returning home... ((Yeah I got rather little...but at least we can move on now  )) |

Tanya leaned heavilly on her staff as she walked, tired from all the fighting and all the magic she had cast. She had tried to stop the last few from escaping, but she was too weary at the time to do anything.
She looked around at the others, making sure none of them were falling down from wounds quite yet. As she did, she kept an eye out for the newcomer who had walked in on the fight.

Upon arrival we discovered that they had been in cahoots with the Midnight Eye cultists. Goblin lairs was last mission )) Shayna was doing all she could to keep walking through the seering pain in her leg. She had quickly learned that if she stopped to rest, she would have to run to catch up to the others and that hurt more than if she just kept walking, and her pride (inflated from her second victory over the Midnight Eye) refused to allow her to ask the others to slow down. Besides, she reasoned, this builds character, right? During the battle she had taken a knock to her shoulder, and she silently cursed whatever cruel joker invented the funny bone...and whoever called it that. "Is it much further, Tanya?" Shayna called, looking up from her miserable trot for a moment. |

Tanya looked round as Shayna spoke, and instincively slowed her pace to better talk. "I don't think it's too much further. Are you holidng up OK, or should we rest for a while?"

((It's up to you - I don't think we're going to get everyone else back unfortunately. We could always start afresh as it were with new missions if you wanted to keep going and we got more people))
Tanya laughed "You can have my share of the wine, but the paycheck certainly won't go amiss. How long before we're turned back round and sent on another mission though?" She sighed, rubbing her eyes. "If only I'd learnt to teleport or fly or something."

(hello again... i deceided to check this site, if you like, i'll jump right back in to it if you want)
As Klaus was keeping an eye on the rear he overheard the conversation both Tanya and Shanya.
"i'm glad you're able to heal some burns" Klaus replied while looking at his hand,'dam fire barrier...oh well, have to keep training' he thought to himself.
