OK, here are the general rules that count for all the RPs. Extra ones may be added by the RP leader to be more specific to the RP.
1) Be polite. 2) Do not be overpowerful. You will get warnings, but your character may die if you fail to heed them. 3) Follow what the RP's creator says. RP creators, follow what I say. My word is almost final =p
More will be added as needed
Guidelines: You don't have to follow these, but it would be good: 1) One-line posts are not wanted. 2) Be at least semi-literate. My spelling is not that good, but at least I do not speak in '1337' and I do not use hideous abbreviations such as 'u'. Please do not use such terms. 3) Make sure your posts make sense as an RP. 4) 3rd person is generally preferred by many RPers, though I do not mind 1st. Also, past tense is usually used. 5) If you manage to avoid an attack, it must have a reason, and it must make sense and not even hint of being too powerful. Your characters are not invincible, and neither can they keep fighting all day withthout getting tired. Most importanty, they will not evade every attack. And if they do evade most of them, at least make a bit of a aong and a dance about it.
There, just a few things I wanted to make clear.
Ah, extra rule: HAVE FUN OR ELSE ^_^

You left out powerplaying.
For those idiots who don't know, that's controlling someone elses character without permission

That one would most likely depend on the RP. In the RPGs that I make, I tolerate small amounts of powerplaying.
