After seeing alien having trouble deciding on town names, I thought that it would be a good idea if we shared all the tips, advice and links that we have to help with worldbuilding, characterbuilding and...whatever. Copypaste time ^_^ www.sfwa.org/writing/worldbuilding1.htm This has a whole lot of questions that will help you design a believable world. If you answer all the questions you could (probably) create an incredible world...but I haven't gotten off the first page yet. www.seventhsanctum.com/www/wwwfull.html No questions this time, but a lot of essays that will get you thinking and searching for those features that just shouldn't be there www.zompist.com/ More heavily based on the actual languages of the world, I was linked when I mentioned I was trying to create a new language for my Demon characters to use. Some resources for people looking to learn to do manga etc, courtesy of The Manga-ka Resource Guild on GaiaI'll be able to post more when I'm not at work, I'll try get online when I get home but - Lost in Blue 2. Addictive.

Wow, that's a good site I shall have more when it is not like 11pm. And of course, it's not just story-writing they can help with, it's general worldbuilding and characterbuilding, both of which are key components to roleplaying :'D ...My eyes are watering. Need...sleep...must...defy...parent...>_o;; Does it show I'm not exactly a teen rebel? D:

Yeah, and they're quite good for art help too.
Lol, dude, you should go to bed earlier. I've got an agreement with my parents. Just so I can still be a teenaged rebel, they tell me to go to bed at 2am-ish, so I go to sleep early =p
